India's PP export volume grew strongly

Two 450000 T/a PP production lines in Xincheng industry's new PP plant in Jamnagar, India, were put into operation in May and June this year. After the device was put into operation in another state, another 1million ton/year-old PP device of Xincheng Industrial Company in Jamnagar was mainly supplied to the domestic market

market participants said that due to the strong growth of domestic demand, India's exports of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) fell sharply by 75% year-on-year to 13000 tons in the first five months of this fiscal year. During this period, India's domestic HDPE consumption increased by 15% year-on-year to 540000 tons; LLDPE consumption increased by 21% year-on-year to 400000 tons. According to traders, in the first five months of this year, HDPE and LLD from the packaging field in India can also carry the lateral stressed PE with low requirements.
